Location

It was taken in my Home Studio in Paris. Mila is the Model .

Time

It was daytime.

Lighting

I wanted to mix different lights, classical profoto strobe with Beauty dish , but also 3 Godox Led lights to play on the colors.

Equipment

Nikon D850 with 105mm 1.4. Profoto D1 Air a,d 3 Godox tubes TL60.

Inspiration

I wanted to use this beautiful Helmet from Exklusiv but also to get portraiture of Mila. Something like the glamour portraitures of the 70's but with the colors of 2021.

Editing

It is a beauty shoot, so yes for the skin retouch. But I usually get the pictures close to the result at the capture that reduce a lot the post-work and i like it ;

In my camera bag

A Nikon Z7 and it's 24-70.

Feedback

Reflection of the strobe is someting to manage properly and the positioning of the strobe with the specular reflections is were the main trick ius in those kind of shot. The modern Led tubes are very cool but low in power compare to any strobe so balancing is yet psuhing high ISO and reducing speed but I'm quite sure it will be overcome in the coming years.
