Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo when I went to Khaoko, Petchaburi, Thailand, with my girlfriend and her family.

Time

It was such nice weather and the proper time for this. I took it at noon after lunch which the light is coming mostly above our head, but this picture is still impressive.

Lighting

Well, I like to take a photo with the natural light and at that time I try to test my new film named "Nevofilm 400". Yes, the combination between the film and lighting is very proper and the color of flowers could be reached by film and light then I have got this beautiful picture.

Equipment

This was shot by Minolta SRT 101 with 58 f1.2 lenses. The film which I used is NevoFilm 400 from Turkey.

Inspiration

For this shot, I want to capture how beautiful Khaoko mountain is in winter with my girlfriend. It was a good time. At that time, I wanted to take a photo of beautiful things, and I found that even though this picture is so beautiful, my girl is the most beautiful.

Editing

I just only processed a little contrast in Lightroom because this picture is already got a beautiful light.

In my camera bag

I always take Nikon D750 with 50mm f1.4 lenses and 24-70mm 2.8 ED. Also, film cameras, I have Nikkon FTN+35mm. Sometimes I also bring black and white for films, but I usually have NevoFIlm 400 in my pocket.

Feedback

You can use the silhouette technique, then for the film camera, use iso 400 films with f1.2. I could not remember an exact number for speed shutter, but I guess is around 100-200 or 400. If you use a DSLR, you can try those numbers.
