This photo was taken at Iguazu Falls on the Brazil side. I was about 3 feet from the edge of the waterfall, at a height of maybe a foot to take this shot.Time
This refreshing shot was taken mid morning, at the right angle that made the turquois colours pop! I stayed at Iguazu falls for a few days, and took about 500 photos, this one is by fart my favourite one. I cropped the edges a bit to put more focus on the center.Lighting
This was taken with only sunlight as lighting. All the best outside photos are best with just natural light.Equipment
Usually, my go to camera is my cell phone, but in this instance is one of the times I was using my canon rebel T7. (Only because it is cheaper to replace than my $1200 cell phone. lolInspiration
I love capturing colours on the blue spectrum. There are so many shades, and anytime I can get a good shot with different shades of blue, I go crazy to find that perfect one. This photo, if you really look at it, probable has 3 main shades of blue, with another couple more subtle shades squeezed in there. (I consider aqua as a shade of blue and green)Editing
I just bumped up the detail focus a little bit, to make some of the water droplets pop out a bit more. Other than that, this photo is au natural! In my camera bag
Usually all i carry is my cell phone along with a small bendy tripod for odd angles and quick set up. Its one that comes with it an 18-55mm), couple of spare batteries, as well as an actual full size tripod. My next upgrade will be to get another couple lenses to broaden the subject materials that I can shoot with my rebel.Feedback
Patience, and take a LOT of photos. moving water is a finicky thing to shoot. If you want snap shot with detail, its very easy to get blurred images. The more photos you take, the better chance you have of getting some that turn out the way you want, also, some of those photos may turn out better in another way than you were thinking. Lastly, get as close as possibly (SAFELY) to the edge of a water falls upper edge,
