End of map boundary type beat. Love this shot!

Behind The Lens

This place is nugget point in the south island of New Zealand
This was just right after sunrise.
I wanted to be very peaceful and kinda dreamy. There is not a lot of contrast in this image, mainly because the sky was not that clear. It is not something I anticipated on that day, but you have to work with what you get sometimes and it help revealing something a bit more moody during the post processing.
Canon 5D, Tripod.
I actually came to that same place the day before and loved it so much that I decided to wake up early morning to come back and capture it at sunrise.
There is always a bit of post processing, but this one not that much. Essentially gradients, black and white balance, and a bit of color correction.
In my camera bag
I usually carry around my canon 5d, and lenses going from 9mm to 300 mm so I can cover most situations. I tend to have my tripod always close by, usually in my car just in case.
More you know about a place and the condition you will face easier it will be for you to create something great, especially with landscape photography. I probably would have taken a very different picture if I had not seen that place the day before already.
