Location
It was captures on Lake Shore near Toronto, Ontario, Canada.Time
It was around 6 AM. The goal was to get the shot during sunrise.Lighting
The lighting situation was very challenging due to the bright Sun. I didn't have a strobe during that shoot. So, I was dependent upon Nikon Speedlight.Equipment
Camera: Nikon Z7 Lens: 85mm f1.8 Flash: Nikon SB900 It was a handhold shot.Inspiration
I like Golden Hour. We tried couple of jumping shot and when noticed the water dripping from toe was shining, decided to go for this angle and that's it.Editing
As I mentioned I didn't have a strobe but Nikon SB900, hence the light on the subject was not enough in camera as per my taste. Hence I had to recover some details from shadow for my subject to gain more attention. In my camera bag
My Nikon Z7, 24-70 mm f2.8, 85mm f1.8 and 70-200mm f2.8 lenses. Along with those sometimes Nikon SB900.Feedback
Never forget the get the light to light up your subject, be it a strobe, speedlight or reflector. Reach the location at least 30 mins prior to the sunrise to be fully ready for the right moment. Last but not the least, enjoy the moments. :)
