The photo was taken from my home on Hood Canal in Washington USATime
This is one of my favorite images. I remember waking up early and being thrilled that the sky was clear. So many mornings that isn't the case. It was about 5-5:30 the geese were swimming around at the point and the color started to form. It was a wonderful moment in time that touched my heart. Combinations of 5 or 6 are special to me as I see as me and my siblings. Together we are six but on earth we stand as 5. This day we were together for a brief time.Lighting
The lighting was great no complaints there. It was chilly but the crispness of the day was refreshing. So often I focus on a close up shots with Mt. Baker today I wanted to include the geese. It was a tight shot but I managed to get it.Equipment
The photo was taken on my Canon 5D Mark IV with my Tamron 150-600 lens. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
The scene was perfect to me that day and the beauty inspired me to take the photo to share with others. I also liked how the entire mountain chain was showing. It really completed the mood of the day for me.Editing
I applied basic post processing to the photo.In my camera bag
