Seascape Photography at Sundown. Taken on one of my local beaches in overcast weather on the Isle of Anglesey , off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. The variable light conditions and effect of the heavy cloud helped to create the shimmering light effect and add contrast through natural manipulation on the waters surface whilst also producing vivid silhouettes from the rocky shoreline. tilting the lens and taking the composition from a low near to ground level pov added to this contrast and captured the most light movement on the low ebbing tide. The image is unedited as a creative choice , I may consider adding more brightness to add extra detail to the shore in the future but I prefer the feeling of quiet drama of the original.
