Location
The photo was taken at the back yard of a bed and breakfast I was staying in Naantali, Finland. The bed and breakfast place, a former working class home - well actually home of several families, had a cozy and rustic feeling and that included the warehouse standing at the backyard.Time
Can't remember the time of the day, likely it was morning because that's when I like to shoot.Lighting
It was an overcast day so lighting was soft, just perfect for prining out the colours and texture.Equipment
Fujifilm X100V.Inspiration
The old flaking wall and the window frame showing wear made an nice contrast to those vibrant flowers. That catched my eye.Editing
I love the film simulations X100V provides and here I used the Classi Chrome, it's muted colors suited the mood best. I shoot both jpeg and RAW to keep my options open but at this time the shot was ready out off the camera. In my camera bag
I tended to carry SLR with several lenses and two flashes with me. I noticed I didn't shoot as musch as I wanted enen tough I had pro gear. I sold it all and now I carry my X100V with an extra battery and that's all.Feedback
It may be a good idea to wait an overcast day, sure you may capture wallscapes in a bright sunshine but the mood of that kind of image is very different. Also mind the reflection, if you don't want your reflection to show up you need to think trough where you are standing.
