Location
This shot was taken with a DJI Mavic 2 drone late one summers Eve. These bouis are located in the River Humber to guide vessels as they navigate the ever changing river bed. This particular boui was a challenge to shoot as it was only just within my line of sight from the north bank of the river and, was a shot that I had been aspiring to take for the whole of the summer.Time
I had been waiting for the perfect moment around golden hour hoping to get this shot in the evening. Finally the weather improved sufficiently for me to send the drone out and the result was, well as you can see epic.Lighting
The River Humber in the U.K. is home to the famous Humber Bridge. I can often be found along the shore looking for that magical moment and on this occasion my time waiting was rewarded.Equipment

As someone who frequently travels across the Humber Bridge and admires sun rise or sunset it’s been in my book of ‘want shots’ for a very long time. Over the course of a year I have examples of failed shots or, arriving at the location to find the weather makes the flight impossible.Editing
There was a very small amount of post shoot editing utilising Adobe Lightroom. The specifics here included some subtle adjustment to the exposure and contrast but, beyond that nothing.In my camera bag
