Behind The Lens

Location
this photo was taken in my studio
Time
somewere during the day but it makes no different in the photo.
Lighting
lots of soft light, two softboxes to light up the background, and two large softboxes to light up the model
Equipment
the camera i uses is a canon eos 5ds with an 50mm f1.4 prime lens. ithe lightnig is done with 4 elinchrom elc500 pro flashes and elinchrom softboxes.
Inspiration
The foto was inspires by the colour yellow. the model is dressed in only yellow cloth and the ornament in her hair i made from a piece of the backdrop and some yellow feathers
Editing
I started with cleaning up the skin, removing inperfactions and smoothing the skin a bit. than i cleand up the background, there ara always footsteps and other spots to clean up. finaly finetuning the exposure and contrast a bit.
In my camera bag
Normaly my bag is empty becouse i mainly shoot in my studio, but my main tools are, canon eos 5ds camera, canon 50mm f1.4 lens, canon 85mm f1.8 lens. 90% of all my photo's are made with this.
Feedback
Get a good team together, model photography is about teamwork. A good model and make-up artist make a big difference. If you are creative you can do your own styling, and the mua can also assist with the actual styling. also be open for the rest of the teams idea's they can often contribute with creative idea's.
