Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my neighbor's beautiful yard where all kinds of birds gather. These white crowned sparrows are very common and are one of mt favorite birds to photograph.

Time

I took this photo in the evening when the light was more soft and when the birds gather for their evening meal.

Lighting

I just love the pose I captured and how I composed the photo. This is one of my favorites!

Equipment

Sitting in the grass with my Canon T7 2000D

Inspiration

Birds are so much fun to photograph and can be quite a challenge. A fast shutter speed is absolutely needed (lol)

Editing

I did a little bit of editing to increase the contrast and enhance the detail a bit, but I don't use expensive programs and I'm fairly limited with what I am able to do

In my camera bag

I always have my 50mm lense, 300mm lense, tripod, and notebook to write down important things

Feedback

For birds you need quiet and patience!
