East-west - west-east is a monumental sculpture by American minimalist artist, Richard Serra. This immense sculpture stretching over a kilometre in the Brouq nature reserve near Zekreet is made up of four rusting steel plates standing in alignment in the desert where nothing else is aligned. The incongruous setting is isolated and each of the thin rectangles towers above the land. They have been precision aligned to the desert landscape on a chalky plateau between two inlets.
