Éowyn is my cat 'niece'.
This beautiful pure breed owns my best friend, a Vet Nurse assistant who hand fed and raised her into the beautiful cat she now is.
A breeder brought her into Abi's vet practice as a two week old kitten to be euthanised. Éowyn was the weakest of the litter, unable to feed from her mother and the owner apparently had no time to hand feed her.
Abi refused to let them murder this beautiful cat.
For weeks she hand fed the kitten, carrying her everywhere to keep her warm. She often had to nudge her in deep sleep to keep her breathing. Taking unpaid leave from a minimum wage job that barely covers the bills will tell you my friends commitment to this kitten.
The practice vet was unsure Éowyn would survive and had waned Abi not to get attached; but he had no idea how much love she could give to this little beauty.

Two years later we are still celebrating that she is with us.

There is no stronger medicine than love ❤️
