This shot was taken near Ravenswood, out west from Townsville in Queensland. I'd driven to a place called White Blow to see the setting sun on a massive quartz outcrop. A little disappointing as the sunset colour was a let down, but turning around and watching the golden hues through the gum trees and native grasses made up for it. Back to the Imperial Hotel where I was staying for the night for dinner and a glass of red!
