It was a cold day and I was heading back to Union Station in Toronto to head back home, when I noticed this group of birds that kept doing circles. They would post up somewhere for a bit, and then do a sweep across. With cold hands I set up my tripod, and I waited patiently for the next time they'd all fly together. It took a little while, and I was painfully cold, but it was well worth the wait. A lesson in patience, for sure.

I love the contrast in this image. It performs on two levels. You have the contrast between the high lights and shadows, the shape and form, as well as the contrast between the stationery and movement. It makes for a very compelling shot. Nice work.
