I always take my camera with me when I'm outside with my dogs. This is taken at home in my garden.Time
This photo was taken January 10, at 11.19.Lighting
The light was perfect and also cold and a little snow outside.Equipment
I use Canon EOS 5D Mark III and my Canon lens EF70-200mm F4L USMInspiration
I was outside training my dog Ike and got the idea to try to get a nice action shot of him jumping and really try to catch the focus and power when he was jumping over a branch.Editing
I usually try not to do so muck work with my photos but this one had a background that took the focus from the dog so I worked with this to get the background soft and nice without any distractions from the dog.In my camera bag
I work with my Canon EOS 5D Mark III and some Canon lenses. The ones I use most of the time is EF70-200mm F4L USM or EF24-105mm F4L IS USM. In my bag I also have EF100mm F2.8 Macro USM and EF50mm F1.4 USM lensFeedback
High shutter speed to really freeze the movement of the dog and, try to choose a nice background that don't take the focus away from the dog If possible, take a few test shots before so you get the settings right
