I took this shot in Batchley, Redditch, England, in the UK at the pond.Time
This was around 12.30 in the afternoon on such a beautiful snowy day on 24th January 2021.Lighting
Due to the snow, it was quite cloudy, so I did use 1600 ISO, which I found that was high enough to still make this pond beautiful.Equipment
Taken on my Canon EOS 200D with my 18mm-135mm kit lens and my tripod.Inspiration
I tend to take a lot of photos from this spot as I just like the view, but this day it looked particularly beautiful.Editing
I did more post processing than usual on this photo, first I edited the usual white balance and contrast, shadows and highlights and colour vibrancy in lightroom, synced those with 9 other photos that had been taken at the same time, but had different focus points, as it is comprised of 10 photos I merged the images into an HDR photo, I then did a touch more editing to highlights and shadows. Then I edited it with the final touches - sharpening and noise reduction.In my camera bag
I like to be prepared so I have my Canon PowerShot SX540 HS, Canon 50mm prime lens, Canon EOS 200d with kit lens - 18-135mm and my Yongnuo speedlite. Spare strap, spare batteries, lens cleaner and brush and a rainproof camera cover.Feedback
