Location
Taken from the top of the trail head at a small lake outside of ZurichTime
Shot was taken around 10:30 a.m.. The sun was just coming over the mountain and I had to wait a bit until the sunrays came fully over surrounding peaks and down to the water.Lighting
Sunlight hitting the water was key to the picture as it revealed the deep colors of the lake and trees. Waiting for the right lighting from the sun made made the difference in the final picture.Equipment
I carry a Sony Cybershot with me when I can't carry a lot of equipment. This was one of those times and worked out well again.Inspiration
Can't beat the scenery anywhere in the Alps. Being a street photographer, I shoot what catches my eye. This was one of the more beautiful, pristine areas of the World.Editing
I tweaked the shot using Aurora. In my camera bag
Nikon D750 with multiple Nikkor lenses standard filter pack, Canon EOS with standard Canon short and long lenses, Velbon tripod, Infrared filters, 2 flashes with bracket, Sony Cybershot and other standard "stuff".Feedback
Get off the beaten path and explore, Take pictures of everything that looks like it has potential and unless you are under contract, take the pictures that make you smile.
