The photo was taken from my home in Washington, USATime
It was taken with early morning light in our newest garden. We did a mass planting of over 700 bulbs in Autumn and was my first year photographing them. I love using this tulip color combination in the landscape. I have it is a few different tulip varieties.Lighting
We added that garden to our landscape Autumn of the prior year but I had already figured out that early morning light is superb! It is common to have early morning dew on the plants living on the beach. I was real hopeful to have a successful shoot that morning and was just super excited to photograph our newest creation in the landscape.Equipment
I am a Canon girl and used my 50mm lens. I am guilty of not using a tripod for my flower shots and should work on correcting that when it is possible. I am a lazy photographer though!Inspiration
My mother passed away with dementia in February and I was hoping to feel close to her.Editing
I applied basic techniques in LR.In my camera bag
I shoot from home so don't carry a bag with me.Feedback
