Behind The Lens

Location

This photo I took while walking in the snow-covered countryside near my house. The lonely tree surrounded by fog caught my attention because it was like a fairy atmosphere.

Time

it was late afternoon, I think it was about 5 pm the sun was setting.

Lighting

The soft light, the white of the snow and the surrounding fog helped create a scene that was both surreal and fantastic at the same time.

Equipment

this shot was taken with an IPhone XS Max with a wide angle camera-26mm f 1.8

Inspiration

I was struck by the whole context, me and the tree shrouded in fog with a twilight sky and no one else around.

Editing

Yes, I changed the colors of the sky and snow slightly using Snapseed

In my camera bag

nothing only and always my Iphone

Feedback

I like to photograph trees with different shades of light, but the difference is always the weather. In this photo the sunset, the fog and the snow made the difference.
