Great shot! It looks like it could still be in the seventies. But what is that camera she is holding.

Good ol' Canon AE1! If I didn't know better, I'd swear this was taken when that camera was new. I still own a Canon Ftb, the model replaced by the AE1. Great cameras.

Location
This photo was taken in my town of Senoia GA, with our vintage 1971 VW Beetle (Betty)Time
We had done several images that day, mostly in studio, but when the sky started to overcast, we figured it was the perfect time to head outside, and get some shots.Lighting
The lighting is all natural, natures softbox of cloud cover. As any photographer knows, just the right amount of overcast, is a lighting dream.Equipment
I used my Nikon D850, and 70-200 VRII lens. My goto for almost anything, as I find it's the magic combo.Inspiration
This was Mikayla's 23rd birthday. She's a natural retro girl, with a love for vintage VW's. I thought they made the perfect pair.Editing
This was one of those rare photo's that required little to no processing. In fact, about the only thing I did, was add a slight haze to give it a more vintage feel.In my camera bag
My bag is a rolling camera shop. Early on I had to many incidents with batteries dying, or cards malfunctioning, that now I carry everything to overkill. Along with 7 batteries, 4 backup cards, I have two flashes, the holy trinity of lens, plus a nifty fifty, as well as a tri-pod that breaks off to a mono-pad, and yes I still feel I need more.Feedback
The trick to photo's like these is good music, good friends, and have fun. I often joke, and laugh with my subjects, talk, and just start clicking when everything seems normal. Conversation and music the entire time.
