I found this interesting location and began photographing it... Well, "Peanut" (the dog), interrupted my photos, as he kept running to the end of the deck and jumping into the water like a "Super-dog" ! ....
It was a funny sight to see, which caused me to laugh, and I decided this was a great photographic opportunity !!!...
I got low on the deck, adjusted the camera settings for the lighting...
Well... Peanut came running from the pond, saw me laying on the ground, happily licked my face, and decided to shake the water off his furry body... Spraying droplets of water all over me and the camera lens... Then he jumped in the water again, with his "Super-Dog jump".
I clicked the shutter, hoping for a great shot... NOPE!!! - There were too many water-spots on the lens of the camera!
Oh, well... I wiped the lens clean with my T-shirt, hoping for another photo...
Peanut, ran up on the deck again, licked my face, and vigoursly shook the water of his wet body and fur, covering me and my camera with water droplets...
- Arghh, you stupid dog!!!... As I thought this... Peanut looked at me as If to say, " Hey buddy, do you want me to jump into the water again, cause' this is lots of FUN, getting you and your camera wet ! "...
My imagination of him talking to me got to the best of me, and I began to laugh... Sure as shit, Peanut took a flying jump into the water, swam out of the water, ran down the deck toward me, licked my face, and shook the water off him, and all over me, once again, LOL :) :) ....
How could anybody be mad at such a happy dog, so full of life ?!!!
Peanut seemed to be waiting for me (?)...
I wiped the lens clean with my T-shirt and snapped this single photo; then he leaped into the water once again, as if the sound of the camera shutter signaled it was time for him to fly into the air before swimming again! ...
Seeing Peanut so happy and wanting to play... I gave up on photography for a while... I took off my shoes, found a stick for Peanut to fetch, waded knee-high in the water; and Peanut I played in the water together for twenty minutes or so, until the light of day started to fade, and the mosquitoes decided I was their next meal ! LOL:)
"Bye Peanut, I'm outta' here! " - Me no likes mosquitoes !!! LOL :)
