This photo was taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway is Ashe County NC

Time

It was about 11:00am in December.

Lighting

This December morning when I got up the mountain to take a few family sessions it was a little icy, but absolutely beautiful!! The ice had began to melt but there was just enough to make the field glisten.

The ice crystals glistening, and the fog parting, it truly was beautiful.

Editing

I sharpened the image and equaled the highlights and shadows

My external flash, and extra lens, lens hoods/uv filters.
