Location
This photo was taken along the Greenlink Cycle Path in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire.Time
This is one of my favourite images. It was a beautiful autumn day and my partner and I decided to take a walk along Greenlink Cycle path. Due to restrictions being in place, we couldn’t go too far from our home but luckily this path is right behind our house. This image was taken on Friday 27th November at 3pm.Lighting
It was a glorious day and the sun was shining. I was able to capture the natural lighting from the sun and the brightness of the blue sky along with the beautiful autumn colours. This helps in making the photo feel alive as if the viewers are walking straight in to the scene.Equipment
I used my Sony DSC H200 Camera for this shot, with a 26x optical zoom lens (22.3mm - 580mm). No tripod, flash or other equipment used.Inspiration
I had a lot of fun walking along Greenlink Path taking in the beautiful scenery and capturing some amazing shots. As soon as I seen this part of the cycle path, I had to capture it. It is such a beautiful scene and makes such a picturesque image.Editing
This image did not need much post-processing. I used Adobe Photoshop Express to accentuate the beautiful autumn colours and to make the image more noticeable. Nothing else was done to this image. In my camera bag
The equipment I normally have in my bag is just my Sony DSC H200 Camera with a 26x optical zoom lens and lots of spare batteries so I never miss a photo opportunity.Feedback
Take in all of your surroundings everywhere you go and keep an eye out for that certain spot that will make a spectacular shot.
