Location
In my StudioTime
It was about midday.Lighting
Less is more sometimes. I had a front light on at first but when I tried side lighting it added drama.Equipment
Both lights were lencarta. It was shot with either a Nikon D500 or a D3.Inspiration
I just wanted a go at ballet images with a real ballet dancer not just a model posing.Editing
Just a simple momo conversation. I slide my yellow to the right and red a bit to the left for contrast. In my camera bag
Depends what I'm shooting. If it's a wedding I have 2 camera bodies. D500 andy Z6 11. I take my 50 - 159 sigma 2.8. 28-70mm 2.8 mm Nikon. 50.mm 1.4mm Nikon. 105 macro Nikon. Nikon Speedlight and most importantly at least one reflector. Extra batteries and memory cards.Feedback
Get a ballerina that is able to do point work and can repeat the pose often. Also if the shoot is for long give her plenty of breaks because it is grueling on their feet.
