Loowaard Farm House was built around 1560 by Herman van den Loe and his wife Digna van Isendoorn in the Loowaard near Duiven. A sandstone beam with crest stone in the tower refers to this fact.

After a flood in 1855, an elevation was made around the house, although this made the lower part of the house unusable.
