The serenity of this photo you can almost hear it. The birds singing melancholy as they swoon possible mates, the damp grass and tall trees full of leaves sway in the soft southern breeze where it's warm during the day and nights are chilli.
These are logs that have been split to warm a home with a wood burning furnace. The serenity and misery knowing the tragidy of this home being lost to a fire that changed the dweller and anyone close to him. The beauty in a painful memory that resignates that "when one door closes another opens."
I have the joy and pleasure of now sharing a residence and a warm home coming into this winter and I never knew how much of a blessing it was in disguise.
