' The Old Guard ' is an abstract Object study of the architectural details of an ornate and rusty fence , protecting a collection of old family graves in the rural churchyard of my village in Llanfachraeth on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK . Taken in the late afternoon with bright pre sunset natural light to add to the vivid colours of rust and lichen and add an interesting but not overwhelming level of contrast from shadow. Abstract Object Photography on location.
