May I ask which camera/lens were used on this shot? It’s like a painting so I was wondering. Great shot, keep the faith!

Behind The Lens

Location

Artistic photo of the Hungarian crowned crane. Bird Park "Sparrows", Russia.

Time

The time for photographing the crowned crane was not very suitable / ~ 13: 00 / and the sun was quite bright and harsh. The road to the park was long and the time spent in it was limited. I have long dreamed of photographing crowned cranes. I really like to take not just photographs, but artistic portraits of birds and animals. This is one of my favorite photo works, although I love all my works like children, they are different, but everyone's favorite :)

Lighting

The consecration was bright, difficult for portraits of birds. Coming to this park is not an easy task, the time for visiting is limited. But in my mind there was already an image of the work that I wanted to create. Then, it was necessary to catch and once again catch the moment when the crane successfully turned its beautiful head.

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS 450D, Canon 18-55mm lens: 1/160 sec, f / 14, iso: 1/100. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I am a poet and amateur photographer. My favorite type of shooting is macro shooting, which involves subtle and painstaking work, great patience and quick reactions. I also really love nature, birds, animals, I like to notice subtle nuances, catch light at dawn, create artistic pictures from photographs. Through creativity I convey to people the beauty of nature and its vision through my heart. Each photo is a message to people so that they feel the beauty of this world and take care of nature.

Editing

Since the portrait of the crane was conceived from photography, it was photographed in nature, and not in the studio, so in order to turn this work into a portrait, post processing was carried out. I have a cycle of works, portraits of birds and animals, made as a portrait.

In my camera bag

At this stage, I mainly use a Canon EOS 5D MARK III camera, a Canon 100 mm lens. Sometimes I use an old Canon 450D for landscape photography and other lenses.

Feedback

It is difficult to give advice, because people are all very different, they see the world differently, everyone has different tastes and views. Someone likes to take pictures of the city, someone of people, someone of butterflies ... The main thing is that all creative activities of a person bring love, beauty and harmony to the world, and respect for nature. We live in different countries, but in essence, all people love the same thing - beautiful sunsets and sunrises, beautiful music and books, beautiful painting. The task of every person is to bring into the piggy bank of all mankind all the best that is in their souls and hearts.
