Behind The Lens
Location
Taken from the summit of Mount Pilatus, SwitzerlandTime
It was taken in the afternoon, with the sun starting to get lower in the sky, my fiancé and I spent the whole day on the mountain.Lighting
I really enjoy dark and mysterious pictures, so I tried to make this feel like that. But not take too much away from the pictures itself.Equipment
This was taken with the canon m50 with a 15-45mm f/3.5 No other equipment was used in this shotInspiration
Im from Australia, and never in my life have I seen a mountain range as spectacular as this. When I first saw it I physically got bumps on my skin, I was completely amazed at what I was seeing.Editing
Yes, I did some post processing. A bit of a crop, and a colour grade. I dropped the highlights and lifted the blacks. And little desaturation to change the moodIn my camera bag
The first thing that goes into my camera bag is my 50mm 1.8, that lens is so versatile and I honestly think it can be used in any situation. After that I pack my wide angle 10-24mm, my 15-45mm and my 55-200mm. A few filters, led light, cleaning kit.Feedback
Take lots of pictures, and be patient. Enjoy your time while you're there. Eventually you will get your perfect shot!
