I have spent the last year taking photos around my house. There is something to be said for finding the beauty in a place that is not so beautiful.Time
While I do try and take pics at all times of the day, this one was taken at Dusk in my parking lot.Lighting
I have found that natural lighting can be amazing, but I do prefer dusk and dawn better. I have yet to experiment with light rooms, but that is on my agenda for this year.Equipment
Believe it or not, all my pics so far have been with only a Samsung Galaxy 9. I recently purchased a Kodiak and Canon to start practicing with.Inspiration
There are actually a couple trees around my house that stand out. Before I started doing this I found myself thinking that they would make great pictures, so one day I started taking them.Editing

The best advice I can think of is to take your time looking at the little things. See the beauty around you, and then you can see it everywhere.
