Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my garden in Stocksbridge, Sheffield, UK.

Time

It was a really foggy, dewy kind of day and it was drizzling. Not the best day to photograph landscapes, so I thought I'd go macro!

Lighting

The lighting outside wasn't great, but I sort of incorporated that within the picture to show that nature photography can be just as beautiful in moody weather conditions than it is in sun.

Equipment

The camera I used was a Canon EOS M50 and the lens was a Macro lens 28mm

Inspiration

I love macro photography and decided to see how it would look with dew drops on the flower.

Editing

I didn't do any post processing for this photograph.

In my camera bag

Usually I have just my camera and a few other lenses, my Macro and my telephoto lenses.

Feedback

Be patient, make sure you have the right focus and just snap lots of shots which you can choose from afterwards!
