Location
The photo was taken in my apartment on a beautiful day in Paris. I shouted Virna inside and outside.Time
This is probably one of my favorite picture of Virna, the peaceful look on her face, her head falling and it was in the afternoon so the light was perfect.Lighting
I wanted a natural light for this shoot, that's why we waited for the afternoon so the sun was lower and the light smooth.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 5d Mark IV with a 50 mm. Nothing more was used.Inspiration
I was looking for a "classy and cosy at home" kind of mood for the shoot with Virna.Editing
I just correct the white balance and the shadow on Lightroom, nothing too modified. In my camera bag
I bring two lenses, in case I need to shoot two different things. My Canon 5d Mark IV with my 50 mm (favorite lens) and my tele objective 70-200mm just in case. I also like to have a notebook to write if I feel like it.Feedback
While picturing people, furthermore during a shoot with one or two persons, you have to create a connection with them so that the subject feels as comfortable as you are. This will be game changing. Then, just look for the best lighting and expression on the model.
