Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the coasts of the Sant'Antioco island, a little part of Sardinia.

Time

It was at night, in a completely isolated area.

Lighting

as the title says, I want to transmit a powerful message representing me as human figure which is the first person that discover this place and represent that at night. That's why "The portal keeper". And is obviously realized with artificial lights but using composing mode too.

Equipment

Fujifilm X-T1, Laowa 9mm ƒ/2.8 C. Dreamer, H&Y starkeeper circular filter, Star adventurer for astrofollow the sky.

Inspiration

The shape of the rocks, the milky way position and the possibility to snap that upward... using the lines of the rocks. The atmosphere was so powerful!

Editing

of course, yes... first of all because is a composing. But I like to remark which all my composite images 100% match the reality! So I've handle the two snaps trying to have an homogenic result that fully reflect the reality! Dodge & Burn helps me a lot to enhance the structure of the rocks!

In my camera bag

Nikon D750, Fuji X-T1, MCOPlus various lens and microphones, H&Y various filters

Feedback

Feel inspired, first of all. Push limits squeezing the camera and lens, use skills and photoshop if necessary but don't lie trying to say which you don't!
