Location
This photo taken at Harbor Bay, I am a self taught photographer so every shoot is pretty much a new lesson for me!Time
This is probably one of my favorite images, I remember arriving past 6am and walk around to find my subject then set my Tripod on my spot set timer by 10 seconds. It was one of the best morning I can remember walking around the bay in the cold and looking out toward the calm water while some boats were coming passing before everyone came up. this was taken on October 1, 2016 at 7:00am.Lighting
I wanted this image to look mysterious and to draw the viewer into a scene in a story. There was the beautiful light from the rising sun that bring good lighting the scene and adding drama as well as making the story even more intriguing.Equipment
"This was shot on a Canon EOS1100D with an 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 lens. No equipment involved".Inspiration
On this area a lot of photographer took beautiful images where water is calm in the morning and afternoon the lights amazing the background of the tall buildings, sail boats add elements.Editing
"Usually landscape photography requires a lot processing. In my case I shoot in jpg format to enhance the image I make some adjustment in light, color, clarity, and vignette".In my camera bag
The first thing I always pack in my Canon 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 that could take amazing picture with that lens the 10-22 mm 3.5-5.6 wide angle the prime 50mm 1.8 and my Canon EOS1100D entry level.Feedback
" The Manila Bay has unique characteristics. the weather changes abruptly depending on the day you can have sun, rain, wind or calm. One of the major features of a land scape photography is to have patience and wait for the right time which is essential on this place colors and situation. Dawn and dusk are key moments have patience and plan ahead".
