Location
is the largest natural lake in Bulgaria, with an area of 27.60 km², a length of 9.6 km, and a width of 2.5 to 5 km. It is up to 34 m deep. This photo was taken on the shores of the largest lake in Bulgaria, its name is Vaya also known as Burgas Lake. The lake's waters contain relatively little salt (about 4-11‰). Lake Burgas is inhabited by a wide variety of species, including 23 fish, 60 invertebrates, and 254 bird species (of which 61 are endangered in Bulgaria and 9 in the world). An important fish-producing reservoir in the past, Lake Burgas lost much of its economic importance after the construction of the petrochemical plant near the city but has witnessed an increasing number of species and decreasing pollution in recent years.Time
This is probably one of my favorite images. I took this photo during the golden hour just before the sunset on a long exposure around 8 pm. I remember this day I ride a bicycle to get there with all my equipment and I am very proud of this shot.Lighting
I wanted to tell a story with this image because was so beautiful especially with the reflection of the sky in the water.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D850, with a 16-35mm f/4 lens. I used a tripod and the photo was taken on a long exposure on 1 minute @16mm f/11 ISO 64.Inspiration
I was looking for a place where the reflection of the sky is amazing in the water. I prepared for this day because I needed calm water and a beautiful sky. I am glad that I managed to make this shot.Editing
I shot always in RAW and the landscape photography required a lot of post-processing. Usually, I use Lightroom and Photoshop. In my camera bag
I have a different variety of lenses and depends on what I am going to shot. I care in my bag my Nikon camera D850, one of my favorite lenses Nikon AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm f/4G ED VR, Nikon AF-S Nikkor 85mm f/1.8G, Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8, Nikon AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 E ED VR, Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G. Two batteries fr my camera. Speed-light for any case and memory cards. I have a remote controller for the long exposures as well.Feedback
Always care your camera with you because you never know where you can take a picture of your life. If is possible care with you your tripod because could be really your best friend.
