This was a most welcome sight. After many weeks of smoke filled skies due to all the wildfires, it had been quite some time since I had seen a sky light up quite like this. And to time it with the peak of Colorado's amazing fall colors was almost dreamlike. Grand Mesa is the largest flattop mountain in the world and stands in at over 10,000 feet.
