My errands done, I noticed this when I got home, unloaded the groceries then went back to the front garden to get a shot. The dark red sky acted like an odd filter distorting colors, but my Canon made the low light photography relatively easy. I could have fixed the color in photoshop but decided to leave it for documentary purposes.
The recently planted climbing rose is Pinata and ages from yellow to red but with a pale flower back. If it ever gets established it'll look great trained along the iron fence but the flowers usually get picked by passers by.
