THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN IN THE SOUTH WEST OF FRANCE, ON A SMALL PENINSULA OF THE LAKE OF "BISCARROSSE" IN DECEMBER 2016

Time

this photo was taken in a cold morning of December 2016, with a light enveloping mist, reinforcing the mysterious atmosphere of the place. The tree was attractive, maybe magical

Lighting

the morning light was at the same time pure and enveloping thanks to the mist; Calm reigned, only a few birds flew in the silent mist

Equipment

I used my first camera, a compact Sony dsc hx90v. ISO 800 F / 6.3 1/200 40.9mm

Inspiration

The evocative power of this tree and the mystery of the atmosphere caught my attention; My inspiration of the moment: the mysterious tales of treasures, witches, knights ...

Editing

I converted the photo to black and white to reinforce the theme of the mystery I accentuated the whiteness of the image as well as the hazy aspect

In my camera bag

i started shooting with a sony dsc hx90 compact zoom, and then i equipped myself with a full frame pentax k1 with 35mm. I use tripod. I would like to equip myself soon with a Leica Q2 ... Maybe :-)

Feedback

My advice is simple, get up early to have the chance to capture magical moments when the world is still asleep, step outside and you will experience some unexpected moments that morning photographers know; The future belongs to those who get up early ;-)
