Behind The Lens

Location

There is a spot in the middle of the road between the village where I live and the nearest city. I actually call it "my favorite view on earth". It may seem like nothing special to most people. There are vast fields going as far as you can see, up and down the hills. Wheat, corn, sunflowers... And the sky.

Time

The sun had just set but its light could still reach the clouds. It was this beautiful, quiet moment before dusk takes over.

Lighting

Not really. Nature did the work here.

Equipment

I actually took this one with my phone camera. Back then I didn't have anything better.

Inspiration

The view itself. It was as if it said: "You know you have to, you can't just pass by and pretend you didn't see me."

Editing

I just played around with contrast and colors. Nothing too fancy.

In my camera bag

A Canon 600D (T3i) with a kit lens and a 50 mm 1.8

Feedback

Don't wait for the perfect equipment. Don't think you can't do it because your camera is nothing special. Work with what you have. And don't let fear stop you.
