This photo was taken at the Timber Wolf enclosure at Assiniboine Zoo, Winnipeg, MB

Time

The shot was taken in early afternoon.

Lighting

The lighting was natural, with no compensations made. The camera was set on automatic.

Equipment

The shot was taken using a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a Canon EFS 55-20mm lens, at 250mm 1/320, handheld.

Inspiration

Rarely do you get a chance to get a shot of a Timber Wolf in the wild, and usually at great distances. The Assiniboine Zoo has several wolves in an enclosure, and this one came close enough to the fencing that I was able to get a good shot of its head.

Editing

There is no post processing. Photo is as taken.

In my camera bag

My gear consists of a Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera, Canon EFS 18-55mm lens, Canon EFS 55-250mm lens, Neewer 0.45 Super Wide lens, several Vivitar filters, and a Canon PowerShot ELPH 180 point and shoot camera. I do own a couple of tripods, but very rarely use them.
