When preparing for a mini cooper cruise to the ghost town of Shaniko Oregon, I spotted these switchbacks winding down the hill. I knew I would have to drive back up in the night to see them under the milkyway. Capturing this photo involved a long exposure while I pushed my mini through the hairpins.. screeching tires, loud turbocharger noises, and backfires echoing off the canyon walls and all.
