This opportunity arose by chance. The main focus of this 4-day trip was photographing the biggest population of white-tailed eagles in Europe. During the evening of my last day I was out on foot tracking red deer when this fox cub showed up. I slowly layed down to get at eye level with the fox. For every shot the fox slowly moved closer seeming curious about the clicking noise from the shutterEditing
I did some color, brightness and contrast adjustments on the image and a little local dodging and burningIn my camera bag
As I primarily shoot birds I normally have a canon 500mm f4 lens mounted on my main camera canon 1DX III. I often bring teleconverters as well. My second camera would be mounted with a 70-200 f2.8Feedback
Patience and perseverance are the two most important things to focus on when it comes to wildlife photography
