Up in the hills above Newberg, Oregon are many farms, cattle ranches, and vineyards. On one small piece of property sits an old '50s International 1-Ton truck rusting away, with a Blackberry Bramble attempting to take it over. One day I'm sure the blackberry will win.

i love the comp, clarity and texture. also laying that flower was a nice touch. Almost reminds me of a casket flower. lol

I didn't lay it there it was actually growing there. About ten years previous to this photo I found this old truck almost completely covered in a blackberry bramble. I took some photos then with my old iPhone 3 and promptly forgot where the truck was located. I would run across those old photos occasionally and wonder what that truck might look like today, so I used the coordinates from the iPhone photo to find the truck again and this photograph is the result of that. I was hoping the truck was still covered in berry vines but unfortunately it was not. Perhaps next Spring it will be.
