Location
This photo was taken in central Bristol by the Asian food markets in Broadmead.Time
This was taken around 6pm just as the sun was starting to set which gave it a nice soft light.Lighting
There's always a ray of light that passes through several of the buildings around this location so there's always a certain time of day (normally the evening) where you can get some really cool angles without it being too harsh.Equipment
I used a Nikon D3500 and a Nikon 50mm 1.8 Portrait lens for this shot.Inspiration
I love getting portrait shots a lot more than i do landscapes or other styles so i normally go for the more person based shots. I've seen quite a few urban shots with this style of posing so i thought i'd give it a go myself.Editing
I only made some minor colour changes through editing, so nothing too exciting to share. In my camera bag
I normally have my Nikon D3500, my Nikon 50mm lens, my Nikon 25-75mm kit lens and my Nikon 75-200mm lens. I also take my lensball about with me but don't use it as often.Feedback
It's mostly just looking out for good lighting, I've found that if the sun is a little too harsh then you lose quite a lot of depth and it could make the post edited version look a bit off. Also just have an explore around your local city and town to find some cool spots and settings.
