Found this really cool arch in Lone Pine. I’m not going to reveal the location to the keep it a secret. Just kidding. Everyone knows of this place and this is the first and last time I ever shoot Milky Way here. I was here exactly one week ago and I’m not sure if it’s because it was a Friday or Father’s Day weekend but this place was packed. When I arrived there were already 8 people there and it was almost impossible to get a good comp. Plus they were constantly turning on headlamps, flashlights and some wanna be teacher was shining a lumecube across the scene and would end up right in my lens, while giving terrible advice to the others no less . I just said fuck it after a few shots and packed up. As I did, another group of about ten people showed up. Hiking back there was ANOTHER couple on their way over! Steering clear from now on.

@nikonusa Z6 with Nikkor 14-24mm f-2.8 and FTZ Adaptor. Used @ioptron_telescopes Sky Track for two minutes on the sky and a single one minute in the foreground.
