Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in my room, in the student apartment where I was during my studies at the University of BurgosTime
It was in the afternoon, the time of day did not really influence much since it is a photo taken indoors. In fact, I needed to have as little light as possible from outside, since everything is illuminated with spotlights.Lighting
the main light is a projector, which I used to project the spiral on the model. It was difficult to center the image since at the slightest movement the projection was out of square. There was another light illuminating the white wall behind the model to separate the model from the dark background.Equipment
I used my usual camera which is a Canon EOS 700D, a Youngnuo 35mm 2.0f lens, a projector, a tripod for the projector, and a continuous light for the background.Inspiration
I took this photo for fun. I needed to do a series of portraits for photography class and my friend was visiting at the time, so we did different tests and finally this photo came out. We had a lot of fun and great photos came out. The main idea or concept was the negative (or not) thoughts that make you act the same way again and again.Editing
Yes, in post-processing improve the intensity of the lights. I did the black and white and a little Dodge & Burn to enhance the features. Little more.In my camera bag
My camera (700D Canon), two 35mm and 50mm Yongnuo lenses. Several batteries, a small portable light, a remote to fire the camera (self-portraits) and I always carry some filters and gels.Feedback
Pay attention to the lighting, be patient and above all have a good time taking pictures.
