This photo was taken in my home kitchen in Baghdad. I was looking at the light and I said here the idea and innovation will start.Time
This photo was taken in the evening time in April 2020. I do not remember how long the clock was on that day, but what I remember is that my sister was standing in the kitchen washing dishes and I was beside her and looking at the light and I said that I must photograph this shot that is in my mind now to achieve the idea and goal that I aspire to.Lighting
What I want to say, if I took the picture with cooking tools, The goal of the idea would not have reached as I wanted it to people. Everything around us, if we look a little deeper, will find that it carries different ideas and meanings that meet our passion. Therefore, after I took the picture as it is, and the light was hanging in the ceiling of the kitchen, and the light was directed down and I hid the kitchen tools. I flipped the image so that it would direct the light up, in this distinctive and innovative way, and reach the idea’s goal to the people.Equipment
I am a journalist and filmmaker based in Baghdad. I use a mobile phone a lot in my work. In my spare time, I shoot things that meet my passion and thoughts, and this picture is one of the photos I took on the iPhone without a tripod and flash. I took the picture as it was and I was holding the mobile phone with my hand.Inspiration
The circumstances of Iraq are difficult and have become more difficult after the spread of the Corona pandemic. The spread of this virus has made many people inside and outside of Iraq look at life with a pessimistic view of hopelessness. Therefore, I wanted to send a message of hope in an innovative way and the light in the kitchen in my house was hope. Despite the darkness that exists, but always there is a point of light that will change our lives for the better. Therefore, the light in the image was standing and straight and no dark spot affected it.Editing
This picture was taken as it is on the mobile phone. Then I made the background in black and white to hide the kitchen tools. Then I flipped the image so that the light was raised to the top, to be this innovative shape and achieve the goal of my idea.In my camera bag
Because I use a mobile phone a lot in my work, so a mobile phone is the basis in my bag. Currently, I do not have a modern camera, so I rely on the mobile phone camera.Feedback

Confidence in the soul, with passion, ambition, innovative idea and patience, we must always be patient, regardless of difficulties that pass us by, because after fatigue and effort must come a day and your goals and aspirations are achieved.
