This is Woo, because that is what I said when I found the caterpillar on the bottom of a large grape leaf. It had already formed its knot with its mouth to attach it to the leaf. It had not moved its back pinchers to attach it to the knot. Storms were coming and I knew it would be in a very vulnerable time when the storm hit. I brought it inside, wedged the edges of the leaf under the clear plastic door to the lid. I then let magic happen. Woo made its J and then the next day split its skin and became this chrysalis. I will post the next photo where I trimmed the grape leaf so that I could securely tie it to the top of the critter cage with dental floss.
