We get some wonderful shows of light here in the north west highlands of Scotland. Sunset is always a special time but it means watching the light and how it progresses. I was keeping my eye on developments this particular evening and new we were going to be treated with something special. Fortunately this is the view from our house so I didn't have far to go but only had time to grab my camera with its 70-200 zoom on. There wasn't enough time for a tripod as things were changing fast so I switched to shutter priority in order to get a fast shutter speed counteracting the maximum zoom and managed to bag this image.
